Our hire period for the use of the crockery / items is 1 – 3 days. If you need the crockery /
items for a longer period please discuss this with us first.

Hiring The Goods

A deposit of of 50% is required when placing an order. This will secure the booking. You
can cancel your order at anytime but your deposit is non – refundable if you cancel.
Cancellation must be made by e-mail. We accept bank transfer. We will contact you prior
to the date of delivery just to re-confirm arrangements. Remaining balance to be paid on
the date of delivery. No minimum order and we can cater for up to 150 guests.

Additional Items

If you decide you would like additional items after booking please let us know and we will
try to accommodated where possible. This will be added to the order. Payment will be
due upon receipt of delivery.

Checking and Signing of The Goods

The customer will be provided with a crockery /item inventory checklist. When the goods
are delivered and collected you will be asked to sign the checklist. Please check the
crockery carefully upon receipt. After signing for delivery you are fully responsible for the
care of all requested crockery. You are expected to return them in good order.


You are liable for any loss, breakages, cracks or chips of any crockery or goods. If the
goods / crockery are damaged / lost/ torn or broken items are charged as followed per:
Cup and saucer/ small plate £4.00
Sugar bowl / milk jug £4.00
Dinner plate / dessert bowl £4.00
Cake plate £5.00
Cake stand £20.00
Teapot £25.00
Cutlery £2.00
Cake slice £5.00
Coffee pot £25.00
Table decorations £20.00
Bunting £2.00

What we offer

The crockery in our collection are mismatched. All our crockery have been carefully
chosen to give a vintage effect, We do try to ensure that all our crockery complement
each other and your chosen style. Due to the vintage condition of the crockery there
maybe signs of wearing of the gilt. Some crockery may be contemporary but considered
appropriate to a vintage theme. We are also unable to guarantee certain colours or
specific sizes.


Free local delivery within Somerset, Devon and the Bristol area. Outside of the local area
there is a charge of 50p per mile.

Setting up

No charge for setting up and laying out, if it is required. We can unpack your goods, lay
the table to your requested style at no extra cost.

Cleaning and Clearing Up

Free cleaning and washing up service after the use of crockery is provided. This is
included in the hire charges. Please do not wash the crockery or use a dishwasher. We
are happy to provide a re – wrap and re – pack service.


We also offer free consultations over a cup of coffee / tea and cake. If you would like to
arrange a visit to view our crockery and select specific items, this can be arranged by
prior appointment.
